The money voted to us by supporters under the Hampshire County Council ‘Approved by you scheme’ allowed us to replace the existing sign boards and buy two more.
With help from Havant Borough Council – and Coral Hynard of the Beachlands office in particular – the two new signs have been installed on the wall of the Surf Shack (previously the Rainbow café)…
… and on the east wall of the toilet block at Eastoke Corner…
And there’s more. With a little ingenuity and a contact in the printing industry we intend to re-use one of the old sign boards with a self-adhesive version of the map to create a third new sign. The current plan is to fix it on the south wall of the tourist office at Beachlands.
